Celebrating Two Years of GSLA

Two years ago, I launched Griffin Strategic Law Advisors. Had I known, on that bright Chicago day, that the coronavirus was plotting global domination, it might not have happened. But, as the Beatles said, "there's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be."

Throughout an otherwise isolating pandemic, my business has allowed me to meet and work with smart, insightful leaders who are doing incredible work in the transportation, startup, and nonprofit spaces. I serve as outside general counsel for businesses with complex legal needs and collaborate with talented outside counsel. Two years in, my clients range from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies and include transportation businesses, nonprofit organizations, and a wide range of corporate entities.

In the last year, I served on a panel on Women and Leadership, was asked to present at a Maritime International Trade Symposium, and joined the boards of two nonprofit organizations. I served as an expert witness in a fascinating transportation litigation matter and continued to teach first-year law students at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
