Alais Griffin to Serve on Public Interest Panel, Hosted by Northwestern Law's APALSA
GSLA Founding Member Alais Griffin has been invited to serve on a Public Interest Law panel hosted by Northwestern Law School’s Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA). APALSA's mission is to foster a supportive network for Asian American law students and to provide each student with a forum for discussion of issues that they may face as members of the Asian American community. Each year, APALSA plans and hosts APALSA Week, a series of programs designed to explore and reflect on the current status of Asian Americans in the legal profession, highlight the achievements of Asian Americans who have made significant contributions to the law, and address continued obstacles facing the community. As a Northwestern Law alum and former Northwestern Law APALSA member, Alais is thrilled to participate in the 2020 APALSA Week programming, to support APALSA’s work, and to have the chance to talk about her extensive background in public interest and public service.
